With more than 15 years’ experience in the field of fashion photography and advertising at the international level, I’ve had the privilege of working with celebrities, royalty, professional athletes, international models and award-winning entrepreneurs.
But the true highlights of my experience as a photographer are the magical moments that I’ve witnessed from behind the camera. Immortalizing a lovers’ kiss at Piazza Pretoria in Palermo. Watching a mother cry tears of joy as she rediscovers her beauty in her lingerie pictures. Or seeing a beautiful divorcee in Sao Paolo regain self-confidence after her shoot.
Highlighting people’s qualities, showing them from their most beautiful angle, capturing their inner beauty and giving them self-confidence is what the part of my job that I love the most.

HOW "SHOT BY HIND" WAS BORN
MY STORY
I arrived in Palermo in 2018 on the occasion of Manifesta12 during which I had exposed my work. I immediately fell in love with the city and decided to settle here to do research on a personal artistic project on the legacy of Arab culture in Sicilian heritage.
I have always loved to build bridges between different cultures. Moroccan-born, I’ve also lived in France, Lebanon, Dubai and Brazil before deciding to settle in Sicily. Meeting people from different countries, learning different languages (I speak Arabic, French, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian) and exploring different cultures are an integral part of my lifestyle.
After working in fashion and advertising for many years, I decided to pivot and start serving a new audience. Offering my photography services to professionals, entrepreneurs and influencers became obvious after I first started doing this for friends: helping them capture important moments in their lives, upgrade and beautify their social media presence and capture beautiful headshots for their personal brands. Putting my photography skills in service of others and helping people advance their business and careers brought me joy and made me fall in love with photography all over again.
And that's how "Shot by Hind" was born.

Photography is not just a question of aesthetics or high-performance equipment or even filters and retouching ... a beautiful photo is, first of all, an emotion, a feeling or a desire. This is why I always need to communicate with my clients before the shoot in order to get to know them and understand their needs, their fears and their goals. My clients always know exactly what to expect from their shoot with me and how to prepare. I’m obsessive about making sure my clients walk away with a memorable experience and enjoy every step of the process with me. Because photography is first and foremost an exchange, a human relationship, not just an image.
